MAFIA & FLUXY MUSIC
They created their label in 1987, a ten-year experience in the business gave them opportunities to develop their own music. MAFIA & FLUXY remained a long time in Jamaica and worked with many artists.
It was by this time that MAFIA & FLUXY really had made their mark and were labelled the UK?s very own Sly and Robbie. They had their own recording studio, still retaining the north London Tottenham roots, and were producing for artists all over the world.
By the late 90?s their label was doing well and they were scouting future talent.
MAFIA & FLUXY brought Glamma Kid to fame and were working with new names such as Troublesome, Sandra Melody and Marie Claire.
Their work was well rewarded with British & Black Music Awards, for their contribution in the business and for the Jamaican Community in the UK.
The MAFIA & FLUXY label also had by 2000 a huge catalogue of releases?singles,10? and CD?with artists such as Luciano, Barrington Levy, Michael Rose, Max Romeo, Gregory Isaacs, Bob Andy, John Holt and many more!!
